Briana's New Kitchen

Grandma and Grandpa got Briana a new kitchen for her birthday! It's a big step-up from the hand-me-down kitchen that she had before. Her new kitchen (it's just like the one that her cousin Gabe has), has a stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator, cupboards, and drawers! When you put the frying pan on the stove, it makes sizzling noises, and the pot makes boiling noises!

Briana has a lot of fun playing with her kitchen, and has gotten so good at eating pretend food, that she is now able to feed herself some real food using a spoon and/or fork!

Please notice that Briana is wearing her favorite hat! Whenever she sees her hat she asks for it, and isn't content until she's wearing it. She's also wearing her NEW sneakers. In the past the only shoes that she has worn have had soft soles. It took a little while for her to get used to her new sneakers, but she's been doing very well with walking in them (for those few independent steps that she's taking). Briana has started to walk further distances on her own, about 10 steps at a time now, and can stop and start without holding on to anything. Anyday now she'll be comfortable enough with her abilities to walk where ever she wants to!
