Grandpa's Girl

Last night Grammy and Grandpa came to visit us for a little while. Briana enjoyed showing Grammy and Grandpa her new tricks, and playing on the floor with Grandpa. She's getting better about letting them hold her and play with her (she had been a little shy with them for the past few weeks as "stranger anxiety" has started), which makes everyone very happy!

Enjoying Mobility!

With every day that passes, Briana is becoming more and more mobile. This weekend she discovered that her crawling skills are not limited to one room! She used to limit her crawling to carpeted areas, but has discovered that she can move just as well on the hard surfaced floors. She spent the weekend exploring and chasing Moxie (who isn't quite as excited about Briana's crawling as we are).

Jeremiah and a New Hat!

On Sunday we had a surprise visit from Aunt Charlene and Cousin Jeremiah! Aunt Charlene brought Briana a new fleece hat! Briana likes the feel of the soft hat, and was very exicted to see Jeremiah. It was a quick visit because Jeremiah had to get ready to go back to school, but we all enjoyed seeing him!!

Mmmmm Toast!

Briana had fun trick-or-treating, and one of the "goodies" that she received was a box of baby toast! Mommy wasn't sure how Briana would do with them, since she gags on chunky food. To everyone's surprise Briana loved them, and quickly gobbled up the yummy toast!

Toy box or race car?

Briana's toys used to live in a basket under the coffee table, but her collection has grown so much that Mommy and Daddy brought down a tote to put them in. Briana likes to sit in the tote with her toys and let Daddy pull her around the living room. Her purple cow is perfectly shaped to double as a head rest!!

A pretty bow for a pretty girl

Mommy's friend Nicole made a pretty headband for Briana!! Briana doesn't mind wearing the headband, but if she sees it before Mommy puts it on her head she wants to try to eat it! Mommy doesn't think it would taste as good as it looks though!
